Tea in the Tent is a relaxed networking event taking place during the Bucks County Show. It has been created to bring businesses, rural enterprises, exhibitors, sponsors, community organisations and other professionals together in one place to meet, connect and explore opportunities.

This isn’t a traditional formal networking event. There are no pitches or lengthy presentations — the focus is simply on good conversations, making connections and seeing where those relationships might lead.

Tea in the Tent takes place on Thursday 27 August 2026, from 3.15pm to 5pm.

You’ll find us in the Members Marquee at the Bucks County Show, Weedon Park, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP22 4NN.

The Bucks County Show itself is open from 8am until 6pm, so you can enjoy the Show before and/or after the networking event.

No — you don’t need to buy two separate tickets.

Your Tea in the Tent ticket includes admission to the Bucks County Show.

If you already have a Show ticket, there is also an option to add Tea in the Tent for £10 + VAT.

So you can choose the option that works best for you.

Come as you are!

Tea in the Tent is designed to be relaxed and informal, so there is no formal dress code.

Remember that you’re at an agricultural show, so comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for walking around the showground are always a good idea.

Smart casual? Absolutely.

Country boots? Perfect.

Business suit? If that’s your thing, go for it.

The important thing is that you’re comfortable and ready to meet people.

There may be some short introductions and opportunities to hear from people involved with the Bucks County Show, but the main purpose of the afternoon is social networking and connecting.

We want you to have conversations, not sit through a room full of presentations.

You’ll receive a list of the businesses and people attending, so you’ll have an idea of who is in the room and who you might want to connect with.
