Gung Ho my friend!
I am Tina Duggan from Oven Loving, your local oven cleaning specialist. I was so thrilled to be reviewing one of my favorite business books, Gung Ho by Ken Blanchard.
This book has seen me through my business years, proving me a great foundation and bedrock to my thinking. It’s the kind of book you return to, I always read something different when I go back to the book.
Firstly, it is a story, one that is easy to follow and clear!
I love the fact that Ken Blanchard has used the behavior of the Squirrel, Beaver and Goose to show what good looks like. It has it all, a story line where the woman is set up to fail and the grit and determination to learn and grow, being backed into a corner and coming out fighting to turn around the team and grow the profits and successes.
I think my favorite animal is the gift of the goose, I love cheering each other on, as well as sharing the tasks equally so that all succeed. I can work with that!
I highly recommend this read, and the best bit is, it is a quick read!
